How do I get tickets?

Early access tickets will go on sale at midday on Thursday 2nd April 2026, exclusively to people on the early access mailing list. Sign up for that here. General sale will open at midday on Friday 3rd April 2026.

Is it wheelchair accessible?

Yes! The whole venue is wheelchair accessible. More information is available in our accessibility pack, and on the Accessibility page.

Is there parking?

There will be no on-site parking available but there are car parks at Monkgate and Union terrace, along with other nearby options in the city.
There are several long-stay carparks operated by York City Council, Qpark, and NCP. Alongside this, you can check out www.yourparkingspace.co.uk which has a number of options for private parking in York as well as www.parkopedia.co.uk where you can quickly compare parking costs. Be aware that the Park and Ride services don't allow for overnight parking.

How should I get there?

The venue is within easy walking distance of the city centre, and there are great Park and Ride options. More information about public transport can be found here

Can kids come?

Yes! While Demons Wake is an event aimed at adults, kids are indeed welcome. Children aged 7 or under can enter with a free ticket, and all attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

What are the food options?

There are a variety of food options available at the event including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options.

What if I buy a ticket and then can't come?

Tickets can be refunded up to 7 days before the event. After that, tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are not transferable - the named buyer of the ticket must be present at the event.

What if I need quiet time?

There is a chillout room available for anyone to take some time out. Additionally, there is an outdoor space available on the campus if you want to be outside and stretch your legs.

Are there hotels or hostels nearby?

Discounted accommodation will be available to ticket holders. This will be in the university halls of residence and will be within easy walking distance of both the venue and the city centre. When you've bought a ticket, information on how to book this will be in your confirmation email. Prices start from £60 per person per night and there is limited availability.
There are also many hotels within walking distance, with a range of both price and quality.
